Season 3 Episode 1: Keeping Your Inner Child Alive with Jesse Wilson

We kick off season three with a raw and profoundly moving conversation with Jesse Wilson. Jesse is an organizational consultant, executive coach, and former pastor. In this episode, Jesse opens up about his upbringing in an intense religious organization, the epicenter of the ecumenical charismatic renewal movement of the 1970s and 80s; his strange mini-celebrity status as “The Obedient Child” and his nearly 20-year career as a full-time pastor. He also talks about the moment he decided to pull the plug on his church to save his inner child.

In between, Jesse shares his fascinating research on how we become, stay, feel and find inspiration.

Jesse courageously models how to build a new life after a significant chapter closes—piecing together a new home, a new work, new relationships, and a new sense of self.
